Since its recent refurbishment, the Y Hotel offers something for everyone. There is a range of rooms to suit everyone from holiday makers who want self-catering facilities to business travellers who need the latest in communication, and families and backpackers who are simply after a comfortable bed and a good night's sleep.
Whether you are travelling alone, with a friend or as part of a group, the Y Hotel can offer the right room for you. There is a friendly atmosphere and plenty of shared space to relax in or meet other fellow travellers from Australia and overseas.
The reception is open 24 hours and the hotel is under constant state-of-the art video surveillance.
The backpacker floors have a TV lounge, communal kitchen with microwave oven, iron and ironing board.
The self-service café on the ground floor also has public access from Wentworth Avenue and is open for breakfast and lunch, from 07:00 to 14:00 during the week, and for breakfast only on Saturday and Sunday.
The reception staff can make arrangements for tours, car rentals, sports activities and advise on special events in the city.

Credit card details are needed to secure the booking. Deposit of 1 night's accommodation is charged by the Y Hotel to confirm advance reservation. Refund of deposits less AU$ 10 administration fee is paid only if cancellation is received by the Y Hotel 48 hours or more prior to arrival date.
