The Hughenden

Stay in an authentic Victorian mansion where all rooms are a bit different and each have their own characteristics. Wooden stairs covered with flowerered carpets, hallways and rooms filled with interesting displays of antiques and pieces of art, balconies and skylights make the Hughenden a very special and cosy place to stay.

Hot breakfast is included in the rate and served in the Conservatory. Buffet breakfast is only available during public holidays.

The whole building is non-smoking and smoking is only permitted outdoors.

The carpeted Cosy Rooms are the smallest rooms in the hotel and are ideal for one person. Besides the double bed, there is a dressing table or chest of drawers, a built-in wardrobe and a small fridge can be found underneath the TV. The decoration with art and antiques is unique and charming.

The carpeted Queen Victoria Rooms have one queen size bed. Also a room with a small balcony can be requested. The antique furniture is different in each room, and includes chairs or armchairs, lounge chair or sofa. The decoration with pieces of art and interesting collectables is unique and very charming. A foldaway bed for a third person can be arranged.

The King Rooms are larger, with carpet, wardrobe and dressing table or chest of drawers. The antique furniture is different in each room and includes chairs, armchair, sofa, and side table with old books or other collectables. Some rooms have two single beds, and others one king bed, all covered with colourful extra pillows and a quilt. A foldaway bed for a third person can be arranged.
