The double story Victorian Italianite building with its wrought iron balconies and intricate stone masonry is hidden by trees and the entrance looks like it is leading to someone's home.
On the terrace, people sit and drink coffee or tea. Step inside and you step into a different world, filled with 'old world charm', antique furniture, art and historic pieces. Across the street, Centennial Parklands offer a place of beauty, peace and excitement, with horseback riding, BBQs, jogging, rollerblading and children's playground.
The intimate 'Quaife's on Queen' Restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner, also offering an early Pre-Theatre dinner. On weekends, enjoy an All Day Breakfast till 14:00, sit inside in the restaurant with its skylight ceiling, or outside on the terrace. The fully licensed bar is carved in polished wood and is open every day, for hotel guests and visitors. On the weekend, there is live piano music.
The reception is open from 07:00 to 22:00, and a night porter is on duty outside those hours.
The reception staff offers all concierge services and can assist with car or bike rentals, business requirements, recreational, cultural and sports events. The hotel has facilities for private functions like weddings and birthdays, as well as conference and business meetings.
