Built in 1895 on an original land grant, Periwinkle Guesthouse is among a small number of surviving buildings from the Federation era and one of the most charming places to stay in Manly. A periwinkle is an edible sea shell, and acts as the logo for the guesthouse.

On the ground floor of the two-storey building, there is a large modern kitchen, where breakfast is served. A huge comfortable lounge with large screen TV and soft sofas provides a peaceful surrounding, and leads onto a terrace with water views to the Harbour. The floors are polished timber, covered with carpets and you will discover a great collection of antiques throughout the guesthouse.
There is a coin-operated laundry room and a BBQ available for guests' use.
The guesthouse is unattended between 21:00 and 07:00, but special arrangements are made for late arrivals.
The staff can make any arrangements for sports, cultural and sightseeing activities.

The Periwinkle Guesthouse on Manly Cove requires credit card details to secure the booking. 50% of your total stay is charged as a deposit by the Periwinkle Guesthouse to confirm advance reservations. Refund of deposit less AU$ 10 administration fee is paid only if cancellation is received by the Periwinkle Guesthouse 48 hours or more prior to the arrival date.
