As the hotel has been built into two adjoining buildings, the rooms are all a bit different with their own characteristics, many featuring interesting original details like columns, arches or high ceilings.
All rooms have security key card access.
The Pensione Reception is open 24hrs. So all after hour check-ins can be done at the hotel. The front door gets locked at 10pm but guests can ring the night bell to gain access to the building.
Special rates apply during New Year, Mardi Gras and Bledisloe Cup periods and special discounts are available for stays of 7 days and more.
The Standard Rooms, in either brown/beige, earthy red or blue colour tones, show a smart modern European design and have climate control air conditioning and heating. The beds have a light blanket and there are two funky ottomans. The prints on the wall are by the artist Mark Rothko.
