Set in the heart of Sydney's most vibrant suburb of Darlinghurst, the Kirketon is positioned on the doorstep of the city's café, restaurant, bar and night club district. The original building was constructed in the late 1930s and was operated as a private hotel. In 1999, it was sold, designed and reconstructed by the renowned interior architects Burley Katon Halliday and converted to a 40 room modernist hotel.
Inspired by some of New York's great boutique hotels, The Kirketon is renowned for fashion photo shoots and is a haven for fashion, film, television and design industry types and often features special design or art exhibitions in the lobby area. The Kirketon Hotel has been featured in countless design and fashion publications around the world.
The professional team at the 24-hour reception can give information on car rental, sports, recreational, cultural and business events. Complimentary gym passes are also available and massage service can be arranged.
Undercover security parking is available at a cost.
World-reknowned Salt restaurant is located in the lobby and is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday. Room service and minibar service are available during restaurant opening hours.
Tucked away in the back of the lobby is Fix Bar with its glossy red lacquered walls, cool music and super cocktails.
Daily newspapers are available from the reception.

Credit card details are required by the Kirketon Hotel to secure the booking. No cancellation fee if reservation cancelled 5 days or more prior to arrival date. For cancellations received less than 5 days prior to arrival date, the Kirketon Hotel will charge for the first night of the stay.
