The Wood Duck Harbour City Backpackers with its more than 200 beds in total is the place to stay for budget-conscious travellers coming to Sydney. Discover a fun-filled environment in a historic building which used to be the Sydney Eye Hospital.
The staff often organise special BBQs or Cheese and Wine Parties on the roof terrace with its spectacular views over the city skyline. There is also the opportunity to find some casual work.
On the ground floor is a large communal kitchen with microwave ovens and communal fridges, cutlery and crockery and dining areas, as well as TV and video games rooms. Other facilities include public phones, internet access and guest laundry with dryer.
Many social and sports activities are regularly organised during the week, providing good fun and a super opportunity to mingle.
The Wood Duck Harbour City has its own T-shirts with logo for sale.
