Alan is originally from South Australia and has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, having managed various hotels in Adelaide, Alice Springs and Broken Hill, before moving to Sydney in 1997 and taking over the management of the Altamont in 2001.
Quoting Alan: "We, at the Altamont, want to receive our guests just like we would receive them in our own homes, while at the same time providing a professional service and genuine hospitality. Our staff is chosen on the merits of their personalities and therefore help us achieve this goal."
